Celebrate Your Mamas

Remember Your Mom This Mother’s Day

I Miss My Mother

Are you missing your mother? Even if your mom is gone, you can cherish her in memory. By sharing precious memories with family and friends, you can honor her this holiday.

I organized an impromptu “Celebrate Your Mamas” party with my women friends, and you can, too.

What Do I Need for a Celebrate Your Mama Party?

  • Invite friends to bring a favorite memento and story
  • Have them bring a snack or beverage to share
  • Fill your glass and plate and enjoy telling your stories

You will learn things you never knew about your friends. My friends, to this day, still tell me this was the best party they’ve ever attended.

Create a Display for Mom

Even a tabletop display can form a centerpiece for your party. The display pictured here includes photos going back to 1867, a silver-backed clothes brush, tape measure, coin purse, car keys, silver butter plate and baby spoons, China platter, glass goblet, macrame and jade neck piece, and an embroidered muslin bed jacket.

A Mother’s Day Poem
