Conversations on Conscious Women’s Empowerment

The United Nations has declared that a global climate catastrophe is occurring now, and although it’s difficult to accept, it is crucial that we act immediately. UN Women reports, “Gender inequality coupled with the climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges of our time. It poses threats to ways of life, livelihoods, health, safety and security for women and girls around the world.”

World Systems Solutions (WSS) is one organization that is paying attention and they are building a global collaboration platform – a Social Movement Engine – for the development and delivery of solutions to help solve the climate crisis. Recognizing the importance of choosing to unite now while empowering every person to optimally apply their creativity, love, and understanding, WSS has launched “Conscious Conversations” as part of their educational series to tell the stories that can empower us all. As part of that series, Dr. Nancy recently had the opportunity to speak with Ragan Thomson with the WSS Women’s Empowerment Team on conscious women’s empowerment.

Pointing out the ways that women are continually underrepresented in the workplace and face inequities such as income disparity, job opportunities, and equal representation, Dr. Nancy and Ragan discussed the importance of women having equal access to opportunities, and the differences that would make to the world.

This conversation is one of many as WSS works to help humanity transcend its unreconciled historical cultural and gender wounding, separatist positions, and social and political polarization to transform and generate a sustainable future for all of our children and those of the world’s species. The WSS YouTube channel is a fantastic resource that focuses on empowerment, including our relationships with each other, choices we make in the world, and how technology can support us all.

If you would like to learn more or want to collaborate, consider joining one of the WSS Conscious Empowerment Teams (like the Women’s Empowerment Team) or join the group on Fridays for the WSS weekly Educational Meetings.
