Do women compete fairly?

Women Helping Women

positive-wordsI spend a lot of my time talking to women about helping women who are need…..Why shouldn’t women do this, aren’t we  better prepared to help women than anyone?  The question I pose is “Do we ?

I was playing golf a few days ago and I find it funny that women can be so nice and so sweet, but when it comes to competition they have a hard a time really saying “I am gonna beat you”.  Men do not seem to have this kind of issue.  They will say “I am gonna beat you and smile saying it” and they all stay good friends and good business partners.

What is wrong with women verbalizing their desire to win?

I see no problem with being open about wanting to win, being the best  and to let the other person know that is what your intentions are.  I sure do not want to say “I plan on letting you win today and I am gonna to beat myself so let’s play!”  Women need to be more upfront about helping each other, but also helping themselves.  I think that is where many women fall short by cutting themselves off at the knees and in turn have a difficult time with good ole healthy competition and EXPRESSING THEIR DESIRE  TO WIN AND TO  BE AND FEEL ACCOMPLISHED.

Do women compete fairly?

Has this been a problem for any of you in business or in some aspect of your life? Let’s get down to the real nitty gritty and talk turkey…..Do you think women compete fairly overall?  Do some women do this or attempt to sabotage one another with some passive-aggressive move which blocks her success and nobody wins.  I really think we all should make a pack today and say “We will not harm one of our sisters; we need each other”.

Mantra for all women

Start to day by bringing along another woman, with a kind word,  give her support and encouragement and be her mentor and coach if you can.  We will go far if we make this our mantra and begin right now.
