Empowered Women Have No Limits

Leah-Goldstein-cyclingLeah Goldstein’s life has more action than a box office hit movie. That’s what happens when you perceive that there are no limits to what you can do through determination, hard work and belief that you can do anything in spite of the obstacles life throws your way. Her memoir, No Limits, tells her complete story with advice about how you can use her experiences and your own to create the kind of life you want and deserve.
Leah fought her way to the top in Junior Taekwondo, then as World Bantam Weight Kick Boxing Champion at only 17 years of age. Next, she moved on to join the Israeli military, became a sergeant, passed the grueling commando training, became a special forces self-defense trainer, then on to the police force. From there she undertook extreme cycling until an accident nearly ended her life. The very important next chapter to this journey is the inspiring story she tells of how to overcome obstacles and work with your own talents to become a strong, independent, successful woman. Leah says that this book is not just about sports or overcoming her own obstacles. This book is about life.

Empowering Women through Girls, Inc.

For six years, Girls, Inc. has been Leah’s passion. Through a future employment program, she helps young women face what the future may hold. Arming them with realistic expectations that it won’t be easy, Leah helps prepare them for the worst outcome. Her outlook is that women have to be strong, do better, be smarter, work twice as much and prove yourself more. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t do it. She is living proof that you can. And the biggest message she tries to communicate is to be independent, rely on yourself and do not allow yourself to create your own glass ceiling. Figure out what you want, then make a plan to live the life you want.

The Impact of No Limits

No-Limits-book-coverWomen who have read Leah’s book say it unfroze them. She says that we freeze when we’re afraid. It’s based on our natural flight or fight response. Leah’s story of facing obstacles at every turn gives the reader the courage to look at their own lives: Where am I now; where do I want to be; how do I get there and I am going to get there. It gives them the motivation to move forward and get unstuck.
