I asked her if I could share with you the note she sent us:
“I won the contest and I want to thank you for that. It has been a crazy few months. I have 2 small kids and my world was shattered when I recently found out I had cancer. In December I found a lump on my breast that came back negative for cancer.
Sadly, in January the lump needed to come out to doublecheck and came back positive for breast cancer. Two weeks ago I had to have a double mastectomy, and chemo starts next Wed. the 20th. It’s been a whirlwind. I also started a blog of just me writing something everyday, and in less than 30 days we have had 6,100 views on my site! It’s crazy.
With bills already coming in, even the $100 will help so much. From the bottom of my heart in a small town in Missouri….
