In this moment of global uncertainty, marked by fear and division, Equality Now is eager to host an event that reminds us all that JOY is a powerful act of resistance and building a strong community around our work can be revolutionary. Equality Now helped create 15 major legal and policy changes across four continents–expanding rights, justice and opportunities for over 52 million women and girls. So while it’s a very challenging year on so many fronts, October 14th will be a night to CELEBRATE these victories and our team of brave and brilliant human rights defenders around the globe.
